description Efficient system software support is essential for cooperating object applications in order to cope with the complexity and heterogeneity of typical scenarios in this domain. In this paper, we argue that adaptation capabilities should be an integral part of such system software and present the TinyCubus framework as one possible solution that provides the features required of system software for cooperating objects.
